Caterpillars

Every day when I go outside recently there are a few of these forest tent caterpillars climbing up the house. They are neat looking little things, but I looked up what their moths look like and they are quite ugly hehee I have noticed that the ugly caterpillars make pretty moths and the pretty ones make ugly moths. The same doesn't always ring true for butterlies, but I have seen a few.

I have tried to get them up on a leaf to move them to a shrub, but they don't want to be moved, so I just leave them alone. Hope the kitties don't decide to "play" with them. But I got this picture of one of them and wanted to share it.
