Abandoned & Neglected

Some people had moved into a house sort of across the street, well I can see the back of the house from my front porch. Well they moved in with a few cats and were evicted and left behind this precious girl and her 2 remaining babies. She had 4 kittens but 2 have disappeared. Im afraid the hawk might have gotten them. But I can't believe that these people moved out and left her behind. And these poor things are so skinny so guess who is feeding them?? Yep me...like I need the added burden of more kitties but I cant stand to see them starve because people are so cruel. But here is a shot of Momma with the babies on the deck of the house next door.

And here are the babies in a closer up shot. Arent they just the cutest? Im trying not to name them because I know what happens when you do that. I am hoping to be able to get them and tame them down and find homes for them.

Here is the bigger kitten, I love the markings on his face. I thought he matched his momma perfectly until I got a good look at them today.

Here is the little one, he is real tiny and skinny. They both act like they are starving, so of course I put water and food out for them. Even momma is really tiny. She is about the size of a 6-7 month old kitten herself.

Here is momma peering at me when I brought them some water. She is so cute and little and very curious about what I am doing. She used to run at the first site of me, but she has gotten to where she doesnt do that anymore and will even head towards me if she knows I have something for her and want to help her.

Here is momma peering at me over the babies eating. Almost like she is keeping a watchful eye over her babies. She is a really good mother.
