Happy Birthday Rio!!!

Seven years ago today, I walked into a friend's house to pick up Rio. Two weeks before I had gone to see him for the first time. Diamond had come to be with me in May just 2 months before and he was driving me absolutely bonkers. He was into everything and breaking things, but I figured it was because I was gone all day and he was bored. So I figured, why not get him a playmate. I had always wanted either a solid orange cat or a solid white cat and a friend of mine said ohhhh I have the perfect one for you. So I go over to her house the day the kittens turned 4 weeks old. At first all I saw was a tabby kitten, one normal short haired kitten and then one that had deformed hips (sadly she had to have him put to sleep). But then, from around the corner, came the fattest, stubbiest white ball of fluff I had ever seen in my life. I picked him up and looked him in the face and said Hi There....and all I got in response was a hiss and a spit in the face LOL
I looked at my friend and said I gotta have him. And she was like but he spit at you, and I said yep but he has to have attitude to live with Diamond hehee And well, the rest is history. He has gone through hell to live with me, but he loves me unconditionally and I wouldnt have it any other way. I call him my cotton ball with teeth hehee
